Embodied Compassion – Living with an awake and open heart
A workshop with Lisa Ball
Embodied compassion is when there’s real tenderness and active caring. A remembrance of a shared sense of belonging. But for various reasons, we can lose touch with a genuine sense of care of for others.
Using a Buddhist framework, this two-hour experiential workshop will explore the reasons we sometimes feel separate and disconnected from others, and practices to return home to our heart and remember a shared sense of belonging.
There will be meditation, discussion, contemplation and movement. You will receive resources and practices to use in daily life for deeper connection to yourself and others.
You will leave this workshop feeling inspired, nourished and with an open heart.
Conscious breath, pranic flow
Breath, pranayama and life force
The breath is life. The breath is vital.
Our lives, our yoga practice flow around our breath.
This workshop invites you to come back to the breath that is our essence, the breath that promotes wellbeing, vibrancy, ease.
Pranayama (or breathwork) is one of the most transformative parts of our yoga practice. Through pranayama we can harness the potency of the breath and enhance the quality of our life force, the prana that flows through our body.
This workshop will offer a range of different pranayama techniques to heal, to relieve stress, revitalise and recharge the body and mind. Beginners to experienced yogis – all levels welcome!
