Signing up for our introductory offer

This offer, up to 6 classes for $60 (*over 21 days), is great value! It’s available for purchase online via the website. You can also buy it from MindBody Online or at the studio. This offer is available once only to first time yogis to The Yoga Space. There are no suspensions or extensions on your introductory offer. The introductory offer is up to 6 classes in 21 days. After the expiration of the 21 days, any unused sessions will expire.

The intro deal starts from the first class you book. If you then try to book a class before then, it will ask for payment. To fix this, cancel your other bookings via the MindBody Online app and start again (we know. A little annoying but it’s the way the system works!).

Booking and cancellation policies

We prefer all classes to be pre-booked online. We have implemented late cancel and no show fees to ensure everyone has a chance to attend. Please only book for classes you know you can attend as we do not provide refunds if you cannot attend your class of choice. If you book into class and are unable to attend, please early-cancel at least 4 before your class is due to start. You can do so via your MINDBODY dashboard. If you fail to do so you will forfeit the class (outlined below).

Late cancel and no-show policy

If you pre-book a class and fail to early cancel your booking at least 4 hours prior you will forfeit the class and may be charged a $15 late cancel fee. Please note bookings cannot be accepted without a credit card on file. Late cancel and no show fees are non-refundable. This is in place for all in-studio classes.

Do I need to book a class?

You are welcome to book online to guarantee a place or come along to any class or event you like by checking in and paying at reception. We’d love to welcome you to The Yoga Space and help you settle in so please come along 10-15 minutes early.

How do I book online? The first step to booking online is to create a profile with The Yoga Space through Mind Body Online. From there you can book in for classes and purchase class passes straight from your phone.

Waitlists

Where a class is booked, please be sure to put your name on the waitlist and you will be notified by email or text message when a spot becomes free. Nearly everybody on the waitlist ends up getting a spot in that class. If you no longer want that spot, you must cancel out via MINDBODY. If you fail to do so you will incur a late cancellation/no show fee (outlined below).

I’m pregnant, can I attend class?

If it’s your first time coming along to a yoga class, please feel free to come along to a Slow Flow class. Be sure to tell your teacher that you’re pregnant so they can offer you appropriate poses and let you know which ones to skip. If you’ve practised yoga before, come along to any class but again, make sure you let the teacher know.

I’m new to yoga ~ is that okay?

Absolutely! We welcome all levels of yoga from first-timers to experienced yogis. If you are brand new to yoga, we recommend starting with our Slow Flow class, a slower class aimed at all levels, including beginers. Classes also focus on the breath and include some meditation. Yin + Meditation classes, with long, restorative holds, are also open to all levels.

I have an injury or medical condition, can I attend class?

If you have an injury or medical condition, it is always best to talk with your treating health practitioner about whether yoga is suitable for you. Please let your teacher know about any injuries before class. Be sure to listen to your body and respect its boundaries. If you have a cold or a flu, a fever or runny nose, please do not attend the studio. Rest at home until it has fully cleared.

What do I need to bring to class?

We supply mats and props. You’re also welcome to bring your own mat. Expect to get a little warm, so please bring a small towel. Please also bring a water bottle.

What should I wear?

Feel free to wear whatever clothing you feel comfortable in and that doesn’t restrict your movement (whether it’s specialized yoga leggings, shorts and a t-shirt from the mid-90s or whatever you’ve managed to throw on from your floor to make it to a 6am class).

Class passes

We have a range of different class passes and packages. Please see our prices page for all the passes as well as our terms and conditions.

Can I suspend my pass?

You can suspend an unlimited 3, 6 or 12 months pass as well as a direct debit payment at any time for up to 2 months in a calendar year (3 mth = 1  mth; 6 mth = 6 weeks, 12 mths = 60 days), but we do need an email to let us know at least a week in advance so we can arrange it for you. If you’re emailing for a suspension please include start and end dates. Your pass will automatically renew after your stated end date. Please refer to our terms and conditions for details.

Suspensions or extensions are not available on your introductory offer, 5, 10 & 20 packs. Be sure to not the date they expire and come along to class!
